The Old Dark House

In 2001 Mangled Ferret Productions presented “The Old Dark House” – a horror comedy based on the obscure 1932 James Whale film which in turn was based on a novel "Beknighted" by J.B. Priestly.

This ran for three sold out weeks in The Crypt in Dublin Castle.

A Christmas Karl

Produced in association with JoeShow Productions, Mangled Ferret Productions began with thier original play - a desercration the of Charles Dickens classic. Set in the back streets of or Celtic Tiger inspired streets.

This ran for a week in The New Theatre in Dublin.

Picasso at the Lapin Agile

Steve Martins' classic play was a long time dream project for director Ian Whelan – breaking the Ferret strongly held tradition of presenting original comic plays. "I don't bleedin' care" said Master Whelan in an unbridaled fit of rage and humility. This was the Irish premiere of this delightful play (unless someone proves otherwise).

Presented in 2002 in Andrews Lane Studio.

Remember The Dodgy Badgers

Written by Garvan Giltinan, one time Ferret skin basher (yes, I'm well aware of how that sounds), a thinly vailed account of Mangled Ferrets metoric rise to the bottom rungs of the mid eighties music scene ladder.

To be presented in August 2005.
